Given that the data clearly show accelerating global warming, how does John show that it's actually slowing down? This is how.
John's chart
John's chart doesn't show the 2 key variables - global temperature and atmospheric CO2 level - here, plotting one against the other.
That would show that growth of both is accelerating.
So, he plots the rate of increase of both over 15 year periods, which takes best advantage of natural irregularities in temperature increase.

However, if you plot the 15 year moving averages of UAH 6.0 Global Land & Ocean Temperature against 15 year average Mauna Loa atmospheric CO2 level what you actually get is this chart.
Global warming is not slowing down, is it?.
